Shipping and Lost Packages– We are talking about this first as it is the most important right now. We are shipping USPS 3-day Priority with every order. Over the last month, we have noticed that does not mean it will get there in 3 days. We have had packages take 5-7 in small outward towns. Please have patience with your order. Every order we send has a tracking# we will send that to you promptly after we ship your item. You can purchase a signature required only- $4.00 to protect us both. Please buy it otherwise If the USPS says delivered we are done with our conversation- and no longer responsible- we will not refund you if the tracking says delivered on the USPS website. Be vigilant. Please be specific if there are special shipping circumstances or notes. Contact royalpeasantry@royalpeasantry.com we love what you do and do everything we can to make sure shipping is the least stress possible as it is the only thing truly out of our control.

We do, however, offer store credits or exchanges as well as free sizing and fixes. Redesign costs are $40/hr. and we are happy to work with you to complete your vision if it is possible.- our diverse experiences in retail and customer service have led us to this decision. If you have an issue please contact us directly so that we can solve it. If you are not sure if you should buy it- please wait, ask questions, sleep on it. Delivery is costly to the Earth. 

To Exchange your item: 

* Exchange MUST be made within 7 days of purchase. 

*Buyer pays for return shipping – the shipping is on you.

* Returned items must be in unworn/undamaged condition with the original tag included. 

* If the customer chooses not to do an exchange on the spot, a credit may be issued in the form of a gift card or online coupon code (shipping not included.)

*Tax is not included when calculating exchange credit.

Breaking In Your Leathers  –  Our work is made to last and settle, we use unique construction methods due to our scrap-based nature and our pieces are not what you normally see around. We focus on comfort, practicality, and longevity- especially pieces made for long journeys-  the leather and fabric pieces like hoods, neckwarmers, jackets, and belts, holster cuffs- so things will get more relaxed as they are lived in and really take on your energy – have patience and here are a few tips- actively manipulate the leather by pulling, twisting and shaping until it listens to you and starts to stay- you can train it! 

Cleaning and Keeping Fresh 

Cleaning Tips- What do you do when you cannot just throw it in the washing machine?? This problem comes with our design style quite often. These are solutions that are time tested and true. Wisdom through the ages and good practice for the Earth.

Add on some RP Dragon Mist Spray or make your own using alcohol, mineral water and essential oils.

The freezer over night is very rock n roll roadie style. Put your garment in a plastic bag and put it in the freezer over night. I personally have not tried it but many roadie wisdom carriers told me it is their practice for cleaning our work, I am passing it on to you!

The dryer kinda likes the freezer. Put your item in a pillowcase (tie it closed, so things don’t tangle or knot) and let it tumble on a sanitizing setting.

Spot wash with a cloth and spit and then soap! Fresh in up, turn it inside out and leave all day in the sunshine. Hand washing with care and dish soap is one of my favorite was to kill bacteria and sweat.

Fixing Your Belongings– Let’s figured out what happened! did we forget to set a rivet? Did a stitch break? Mistakes happen no matter how much QC we do, but they are pretty rare these days. If it’s our faux pa we will pay for shipping back and forth and fix our mistake-no charge. Life also happens and we can help you fix anything that might happen along your journey. We can also see if someone in your local community can fix the problem. (to save shipping and Earth) Either way, contact us royalpeasantry@royalpeasantry.com

*Please be patient. Our work is hand done and there may be several pieces ahead of yours. First come, first serve – we are diligent in trying to make it in less than a week.

Common sizing issues worth working on! GO LOCAL! Is there someone local that you could hire- auntie? neighbor? easy stuff like hem lines, side seam cinches, waistband cinches, shoulder straps, etc. – in some instances if your feeling it, we can give you a little tutorial on these less complex sizing fixes.

Made To Order Instructions – 

Thank you for choosing RP to make you something special! Though we have done customs for years- the online “Made to Order” service is new to us. From your feedback we Embraced the YES!! Thank you for your enthusiasm! We feel confident with our years of experience and success with remote fittings and studio production we can make this happen for some of our more popular and easy to predict designs.

Measurements – These Help keep us on the right track- measurements mean different things to different materials, photos can be misleading, style lines are a personal preference and we like to have a solid baseline to start from.

Photos – Your visual shape is very helpful- as spacacial creators, your lengths, curves and proportions are very important to guide longer style lines and more organic materials. You do not have to include your face. If you have a friend to take a photo great! If not a mirror shot in something fitted will work well- for best results- Hold camera at body center and point forward, keep phone straight vertically! 

Patience – #slowfashion These things take time, ordering fabric, cutting, dyeing, adjusting pattern to your specific measurements and all the other components that make up slow fashion and handmade still apply to us- we work as team- but the process is always variable and can only happen in the order of which it is created. Our first time MTO service is planning to take 2-3 weeks for finish and ship. We will be in communication after your order and through the sizing process, after that give us some time and we will check back in before shipping occurs. 

 Acceptance – Same+ Same+ Different= we are doing our best to create one of a kind pieces jfor you, our dye process is a magical blend of things happening spontaneously guided by true color spectrums that have reliable results – our patterns will be the same- our accents and placement of accents and small details will more than likely be variable but absolutely on brand and following the vibe of the piece we are “replicating” 

Royal Peasantry Custom Creation Policy

We take our time and value the work we are doing with you. We scavenge timeless historical antiquities and abundant luxuries to create what you see and love within our walls. This creation method takes time, patience, trust, diligence and teamwork. Hearts and hands in alignment, balance, all to collaborate for the sake of creating magic.

*Custom rates are hourly starting at $40-$65 depending on materials and handwork.

*A rush charge of 20% of the estimate is charged if expected within 2 weeks of order.

*Normal turn-around time is 4-6 weeks after order is placed. *****Seasonal exceptions can be longer.******

*The full amount of the order is to be paid before the order is started.

*You will receive 2, one hour fittings included in the original cost of custom item, initial design meeting and final fitting, anything after this will be charged $45 hourly.

*We do not do copy customs, the range of desire must be within our walls.

*We do not do repairs on anything other than our own merchandise.
